Alo is one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies. They are a luxury Los Angeles-based wellness company with a focus on fitness, apparel, and skincare. Their annual revenue is around $250M and continues to grow every year. Right now, our customers can (and do) spend thousands of dollars with us, and while they might get a great product in return, we're not going that extra mile to make them feel like we know and appreciate them.
A well-executed loyalty program will instill that feeling in our customers, which will turn many of the 66% of them that only make one purchase with us into repeat purchasers. Loyalty programs drive customer retention and generate revenue/growth. If we build our program right, our customers will feel the same way “we” feel about brand.
In a true win-win, we also benefit from this, as loyalty leaders within an industry tend to grow revenue at a rate 2.5x their peers.
I worked with product, engineering, and marketing stakeholders to design a brand new loyalty program from scratch, in the span of one month, creating experiences for all touch points of the user journey from discovery to post-purchase.
